Final Week of the Regular Season

Posted by D.C. Everest Evergreens Lacrosse on May 21 2018 at 06:27AM PDT

Parents and Players:

I want to start by saying thank you to everyone that helped out in any way to make the Feel the Love Event as successful as it was. I am yet to hear the final total raised by I know that it will make an incredible impact. ALthough the game did not end with the outcome that we wanted I know that we made a statement that we are no longer the piñatas for Wausau and the power change is coming, so keep pushing. In the end good job to every player for continuing to fight until the final whistle, that is what we are most proud of.

But we cannot have a hangover from that game that impacts the remaining two games of the season, this week. We are in position to secure the first winning season in program history!

Here is what our schedule looks like for the remainder of the week:

Monday: We will plan on practicing after school at Kennedy Park 3:30-5:30. BE AWARE of the weather, if it is raining during that time we will switch and do a full team workout instead to get ready for our game tomorrow.

Tuesday: Away at Stevens Point (Goerke Field)- We will be loading the bus at 4:00pm to depart for our game at SPASH.
JV: 6:00pm
Var: 7:30pm

Wednesday: practice after school at Kennedy Park 3:30pm-5:30pm
*Note: To follow practice the U14 Wolfpack team will be coming to watch the end of our practice and then will be practicing after. If players can stay for no more than an hour following practice to help out the U14 players (specifically the Everest Kids, that most of you will be playing with next year) that would be great. I know some of you have played with these kids as well and would be nice to get some insight into what we having coming in next year. Please let me know either today or tomorrow if you can stay. Thank you!

Thursday: Home vs Neenah (Final Regular season game) At DCE Middle School
Var: 4:30
JV: 6:00

Friday: Weather dependent we will be running an informal practice with games of Cobra (Speed) Lacrosse. We want as many players as possible to be there so that we can get some games but understand the holiday weekend. If you are unable to make it PLEASE let me know so we can plan accordingly. We will be out on Kennedy Park just throwing the ball around and having a good time. Won’t be penalized if you miss practice but need to be there if you can!

Thank you again for everything that each one of you has done throughout the season it has been an incredible season that we look forward to finishing strong!
